About Us

There were over 20 bulky picture albums on the shelves. Pulling one out to look at, meant spending more time "sticking" the ones that were falling out back in, than enjoying them. Over the years, the kids had taken some to school for projects, and somehow they never made it back to their spot in the album. There were boxes of pictures, still in the envelopes from the processor, filling the closets. The kids, now grown, would call and say "My boyfriend wants to see baby pictures of me". One was getting married and her photographer wanted pictures of her growing up for a slide show to be shown during the reception. When going through our own, or our parents' albums, there were pictures of events - the dates forgotten, people - sometimes vaguely familiar, sometimes you'd swear you never saw them before in your life! Have you ever looked at your own kids baby pictures and paused, not sure which of them it is? And what about those precious pictures of the people who you may never have met, but are part of your genetic makeup? Have you gone through your parents' pictures and found an old one of someone who looks remarkably like one of your kids? If you are lucky, someone is still around to tell you who it is. If not, those images, once so important to loved ones, are meaningless. We realized, with the digital age finally here, it was time to 'turn back time' where possible - but to at least preserve more recent memories for future generations. A Page Is Turned was born!
